The FFESSM or French Federation of Underwater Sports and Studies was founded in 1948. Approved by the State, it offers a framework of practice for these sports: scuba diving, snorkeling and underwater sports as well as diplomas and patents recognized internationally, via courses conforming to the World Confederation of Underwater Activities (CMAS) ffessm.fr

ANMP is the national association of diving instructors created in 1972. It represents and defends the rights of all diving professionals in France. www.anmp-plongee.com
